It’s that time again: When Mercury, the planet ruling communication, intellect, and messages (including digital), slows its orbit to the point where it seems like it’s going backward. This means everything Mercury rules could slow or reverse, too. That’s probably why you’ve heard the Mercury Retrograde horror stories—like that toxic ex DM’ing you to get that old thing back. 

This time, Mercury retrogrades in Pisces until Friday, March 20, 2026. While social media can make this regularly occurring transit sound scary, it doesn’t have to be. But, I’m not gonna lie, it could get messy. Luckily, we have tools to help us navigate.
