What is Sister-Care Sunday?

Sister-Care Sunday is a day of holistic wellness dedicated to nurturing Black women's minds, bodies, and spirits, held annually in Chattanooga, TN.

FEATURING:

🧘🏿‍♀️ Wellness Breakout Sessions – Led by local Black health & wellness practitioners and facilitators:

• Purpose Discovery: Life by Design (Alexis Willis, Lifestyle Coach): Life isn't easy, but we can create ease when we live on purpose. Lifestyle Coach Alexis Willis will lead you through a 5-step process to discover your purpose and personal mission statement, which you can use to create a life by your design.

• The Heart of Connection (Elizabeth Tallman, Restoration Breathwork): A deeply soothing breathwork session designed to quiet inner noise and bring clarity and inner kindness. This practice helps to dissolve tension and self-doubt and increase self-compassion and new thought patterns.

• Dance Fitness (Hailie Nottage, HIIT w/ Haile): A dance fitness session to the sounds of Hip Hop, pop, Latin, and Afrobeats. This session is for everyone—just come ready to move a little and laugh a lot!

• Mindful Vinyasa (Jas Reese, Yoga Instructor): Connect with your body through movement and breath work in this Mindful Vinyasa session.

• Honoring Your Femininity Through Sacral Chakra Wisdom (Nikki Hall, Naturally Just Nikki Holistic Coaching and Wellness): An informative and interactive experience where we'll discuss the power we hold as women and the importance of our divine essence. Learn ways to embody your Goddess energy to create effective change in your life by integrating the sacral chakra.

• Athletic Motherhood (Sheyla Jordan, Shey Natural Health Bar): Discuss the ups and downs of being an athlete and mother, and how to find balance.
